Enhancing Supplier Partnership

HK Electric works in partnership with our suppliers for mutual benefits. We share our values and vision with our suppliers in the operation of our business and supporting the sustainable development of the community. We believe in the importance of encouraging our staff and suppliers to adhere to a high standard of integrity when conducting business. This Code of Practice for Suppliers (the "Code") outlines the standards related to ethics, human and labour rights, health and safety, environment protection and climate action, and cybersecurity for the domestic and international suppliers, contractors, and consultants (herein collectively noted as "Suppliers") of HK Electric.

Suppliers and their business partners in their supply chain are expected to follow the Code as well as to communicate it with their respective employees. Furthermore, suppliers are encouraged to report their Corporate Social Responsibility performance.

We therefore would introduce to them the service of the Corruption Prevention Advisory Service (CPAS), a specialised unit in the Corruption Prevention Department of ICAC dedicated to providing tailor-made, free and confidential advice on system control in common business areas. Our suppliers could browse CPAS website and also subscribe to CPAS e-news.
