To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the HKSAR, while promoting an environmentally friendly and low carbon lifestyle, HK Electric is conducting a special "HKSAR 20th Anniversary e-Bill and Autopay Win-Win-Win" promotion. The first 10,000 HK Electric customer accounts changing to use both e-Bill and autopay services during the promotion period between 1 June and 31 December 2017 will be rewarded with a one-off $97 incentive for offsetting electricity charges or for donating to one of the designated green groups.
All HK Electric customer accounts using both e-Bill and autopay services (whether the registration is within the promotion period) on 31 December 2017 can automatically enter into a lucky draw for winning $1,000 Fortress gift vouchers (128 winners). For accounts opened in 1997 and are using both e-Bill and autopay services (whether the registration is within the promotion period) on 31 December 2017, they will have a chance to win an additional $3,000 Fortress gift vouchers (20 winners).
Ways to apply Autopay service
- For Residential Customers:
- Call us at 2887 3411 to authorise the autopay setup with your savings or current accounts at any designated banks in Hong Kong.
- Complete the Direct Debit Authorisation Form for any savings or current bank accounts in Hong Kong, and return the original copy to our Customer Centre.
- Complete the autorisation form if you would like to setup the autopay with your DBS/COMPASS VISA/Bank of China/Chiyu Bank/Nanyang Commercial Bank credit cards, and return the original copy to our Customer Centre.
- Call American Express Customer Service Hotline if you are the card holder (the telephone no. is printed on the back of your AE Card).
- For Non-residential Customers:
- Complete the Direct Debit Authorisation Form for any savings or current bank accounts in Hong Kong, and return the original copy to our Customer Centre.
- Call American Express Customer Service Hotline if you are the card holder (the telephone no. is printed on the back of your AE Card).
(The direct debit authorisation process takes about 2-3 weeks to complete. Upon successful authorisation, your monthly bill will be paid automatically by debiting your bank account or credit card account on the eighth working day from the meter reading date.)
